I recently visited the Champagne nail bar by Only Fingers & Toes at Harvey Nichols Manchester, situated in the beauty hall. Every customer is offered a glass of champagne when they arrive for their treatment, making the experience extremely relaxing and luxurious. The salon is very modern and fresh looking with four nail stations and a pedicure area with comfy chairs. There were so many colours to choose from in both gel and polish which was great as you could have any shade you wanted. The gel polishes could be mixed so the choice is endless! I decided to go for a grey/nude colour as it goes with everything.  

In recent months I have neglected my in-shower hair routine due to my dry and sensitive scalp which is in need of some tlc. The lovely Umberto Giannini salon in Harvey Nichols sent me some products to try out and needless to say they have changed the way I now wash and style my hair. The products I got to try out were from the Beauty Secrets and Glam hair ranges. First up is the Pure beauty shampoo and the Intense beauty conditioner which are perfect if your suffering from dry, dull hair. They smelt amazing and really foamed up when massaged into the scalp. I tend to only use conditioner on the ends of my hair to avoid the scalp feeling greasy, however with this Intense Beauty conditioner I didn’t have this problem.

Rosie for Autograph cosmetics launched exclusively for Marks & Spencer beauty in January this year. After launching her own fragrances last year, it seems like the obvious next step for Rosie to launch cosmetics. The collection comprises 51 pieces and is inspired by Rosie’s own fast pace lifestyle and the need for high quality but easy to use products. I got to try out some of the products, below are a few. When I received the products, they did remind me of the Charlotte Tilbury rose gold packaging, with a much cheaper price point!

I am very excited to be able to talk about this amazing new beauty collection that I have been lucky enough to be working with. The range is called Young & Gifted and the face of the brand is the lovely Danielle Peazer who I recently met at the Spring Fair in Birmingham. The collection comprises 3 edp fragrances available in both 100ml spray and 15ml rollerball and 3 eye shadow palettes with removable pans, all designed around Danielle’s personal motto and mantra Peace, Love & Happiness. Danielle lives her life by these words and even has symbols for Peace, Love & Happiness tattooed on her wrist. The fragrances can be worn on their own or layered to create a unique fragrance. If your unsure which fragrance to go for then the rollerballs are the perfect solution, available in a handbag size format. The brand has launched in The Fragrance Shop but it will soon be available in other retailers. The eyeshadow palettes retail at £15, 100ml fragrances at £20 and the rollerballs at £12.
