SIMPLE SKINCARE REVIEW
When my skin is feeling like it needs a little TLC I always go back to Simple skincare. I do suffer from sensitive skin and it’s the only skincare range that consistently delivers and is so affordable. I recently got to try out the new Kind to Skin range which I absolutely love, no nasties, no fragrance, no irritation, just Simple! Starting with the eyes…I have found that many eye make up removers don’t always remove all mascara and leave you with panda eyes or a greasy face. The new Dual Effect Simple eye makeup remover is so gentle and removes all traces of eye makeup instantly. It has a two part formula which is made of oil and vitamin enriched water. To activate you just need to shake the bottle and apply to a cotton wool pad. Although it does leave a slightly oily residue on your eyes after a few minutes it sinks into your skin – RRP Β£3.99.
The foaming cleanser is probably my favourite product from the Kind to Skin range as it is really foamy and leaves your skin feeling so clean. This can be used morning and night as part of your cleansing routine. I am not usually a face wipe type of girl but after discovering the Simple wipes I realised that they really are very useful when going away for the night and you don’t have much room to take the entire bathroom cupboard! The wipes lock in all the moisture and don’t seem to dry up like other wipes. The night cream is a very rich product that sinks into your skin whilst you are asleep and you wake up with super soft and hydrated skin in the morning. The Spotless Skin Triple Action face wash is from the Spotless Skin range is more like a refreshing gel texture that has exfoliating properties which includes zinc and camomile. I tend to use this twice a week just to give my skin a deeper cleanse and remove any blackheads. The last product I tried out was the new Kind to Skin cleansing oil which is made with 100% grapeseed oil. I have always been a little nervous of cleansing oils making your skin greasy but this one just melts away grease, dirt and makeup. The oil turns to a milky texture when water is added to it and rinses away with no greasy residue – RRP Β£6.99. All products are available to view online here.
