MarBella By Mar-Bella Collection – A Luxury Family Holiday Destination!
We’ve just returned from a week of bliss at the MarBella by Mar-Bella Collection hotel, where we enjoyed an all-inclusive luxury getaway perfect for relaxation and family fun.
The Hotel
Nestled on Corfu’s stunning southeast coast, the MarBella hotel is just a 30-minute drive from the airport, making it an ideal destination for some late summer sun. Our arrival was smooth and stress-free, thanks to a private transfer arranged by the hotel, complete with car seats for the kids.
The hotel boasts beautiful gardens and breathtaking views of the Ionian Sea. With three pools on-site—including a slightly warmer family pool we enjoyed daily and a water park that was a hit with the kids—the options for cooling off are plentiful. The splash park features large slides that are perfect for older kids, while the infinity pool offers a refreshing retreat on hot days.
The Food
Dining options are abundant, with a main buffet restaurant equipped with high chairs and a toddler-friendly buffet area. The hotel offers five restaurants, including Mediterranean, Pan Asian, and French cuisine. We particularly loved Celeste, the French restaurant, for its delicious food. For those with picky eaters, every restaurant has a kids’ menu.
Most of our meals were at La Terrazza, the all-day buffet that serves a delightful mix of fresh Greek and European dishes. There’s even the option to dine out at the nearby Kohyli Bay, just a short stroll from the hotel, offering a beautiful seaside setting with authentic local cuisine.
The Room
We stayed in a Superior Family Sea view room, which was spacious enough for our family of four. It featured a separate sleeping area for the kids, an open-plan bathroom, and a private balcony with sun loungers and a table—ideal for enjoying some quiet time. Recently renovated, the room was modern and well-designed, with a large wardrobe area that kept everything organised.
As a Signature Life guest, we enjoyed additional perks, including daily turndown service, a mini-bar refill, a complimentary 25-minute spa treatment, kids’ gifts, and wine tasting. The room was well-equipped with amenities like a hairdryer, coffee machine, kettle, mini-bar, safe, iron, and TVs in both the bedroom and lounge area
Activities
There’s no shortage of activities at MarBella. With a full schedule of fitness classes, crafts, and excursions, there’s something for everyone. The kids’ club, which is complimentary, is available for children aged 4 and up and children under 13 stay free on Premium All Inclusive. There is also a creche which is an extra charge that caters to younger guests. We particularly enjoyed the olive oil tasting, where we learned about the process of making extra virgin olive oil—delicious!
We also participated in pottery and robotics workshops, which were easy to book during our stay.
I wholeheartedly recommend the MarBella hotel for anyone seeking a luxurious family vacation where everything is taken care of. With excellent dining options, activities, splash parks, and kids’ clubs, there’s truly something for everyone!
