Who doesn’t love Teppanyaki! It brings back memories from about 10 years ago when we first visited Sapporo. Well this place hasn’t changed much, I think it may even still be the same chefs but the food is just as good as I remember it. Last week I was invited down to Sapporo to experience it for myself so I took my husband with for a little mid week date night! The restaurant is located on Liverpool street just close by to the Hilton Hotel at the top of Deansgate in Manchester, a quiet spot amongst the hustle and bustle of the city centre night life.

As you probably know by now if you read my blog I am a real foodie and love to try out new restaurants and dining experiences. I recently went along to Victor’s, one of my favourite places in Hale, to try out their new menu. Located in the heart of Hale village and inspired by the Hamptons, this place serves everything from breakfast dishes and brunch to small plates and desserts.

If your looking for somewhere to relax and enjoy some tasty food with a view then look no further. The Second Floor Brasserie and Bar at Harvey Nichols in Manchester is the perfect place to spend your Sunday afternoon trying out the new summer menu which overlooks Cathedral gardens. The menu includes many fresh, locally sourced ingredients that are seasonal allowing for plenty of choice for all. For the appetizer we tried out the Indian poori flatbread, this was served with a tomato and onion chutney and coriander yoghurt. The flatbread was freshly baked and complimented by both the sweet and crunchy chutney and the light refreshing yoghurt.

Grill on the Alley have recently launched a new Summer menu and it’s definitely worth trying! Located in the heart of Manchester, tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Deansgate, situated on Ridgefield street and reminds me of a classic New York Steakhouse. A nice quiet location for an evening meal. A bar area is located at the front of the restaurant serving an array of cocktails and spirits, whilst the restaurant area is set back away from the entrance towards to the back of the restaurant in a quieter setting.
