New talented fashion designer…Allison Woodhouse! She graduated from De Montfort University this June with a degree in Fashion Design. Her collection ‘Captured’ is bold and bright made up of sporty knitwear with mixed prints of neon green and pink. An exciting combination of textures and loose silhouettes were key elements of Allison’s final collection. The models hair and makeup reflected that of sports luxe. My favourite piece is the chunky knit jumper with the asymmetric hemline and large braided fabric. It’s great to see such a fabulous, electric collection come to life on the catwalk.

I am always blown away by such fantastic couture collections. Giambattista Valli knows how to flatter a women’s figure, using an abundance of floral fabric, pleating techniques and pairing it with chunky gold jewellery. The theme of his collection represented ‘the Garden of Eden’ which was reflected by the use of rich crimson and greens. Red net masks covered the models faces to complete the enchanting look. I can’t wait to see his next collection!
