On my weekend trip to London, I managed to get to Portobella road which is antique heaven, filled with everything you could possibly imagine. The first shop I stepped into was filled with door handles of every kind. Where can you find a shop in Manchester that sells weird and wonderful everyday objects of this sort! The market was filled with hundreds of people all looking to buy either collectable objects or items of interest. It was truely fascinating that this area of London is so very different to the main highstreet, like Oxford Road or Covent Garden area. I noticed many items of vintage worn by students and fellow shoppers, but it was far to crowded to stop people in such a hussle. The antique photo frames below were arranged in an interesting composition which brought me over to the stand to take a closer look. All the frames had their own unique character to them, making them all the more individual.
