Places to eat in Manchester just keep on getting better as new restaurants and bars are practically opening each month. I recently tried out Kettlebell Kitchen, Manchester’s first healthy, fast food joint to discover what great healthy, clean food is all about. This place caters for the post workout gym lovers, conveniently located nearby Pure Gym on the edge of the city centre in the Northern Quarter. The place is modern and spacious filled with rustic wooden tables and weights, a very casual set up, although I got the impression that most people like to grab and go. Kettlebell Kitchen is not cheap for ‘fast food’ but you get good portion sizes for the money and when you know the food is healthy and freshly made then you don’t mind paying that little bit extra. There is a great selection of nutritional, healthy meals and snacks on the menu from protein pizzas and burgers to salad boxes and chocolate coconut brownies!

I opted for the kettlebox which includes a protein, a base, salad and a sauce. This comes in two sizes, regular and king. I chose a king box with grilled chicken, quinoa, salad and a pesto sauce which was delicious. I also ordered some sweet potato fries which were probably the best I have ever had! This was enough food for 2 people, I ended up finishing this the following day as it was such a huge portion. I would definitely recommend trying this place out when you next visit Manchester, it is a great option for healthy, tasty food.
