I recently visited the Champagne nail bar by Only Fingers & Toes at Harvey Nichols Manchester, situated in the beauty hall. Every customer is offered a glass of champagne when they arrive for their treatment, making the experience extremely relaxing and luxurious. The salon is very modern and fresh looking with four nail stations and a pedicure area with comfy chairs. There were so many colours to choose from in both gel and polish which was great as you could have any shade you wanted. The gel polishes could be mixed so the choice is endless! I decided to go for a grey/nude colour as it goes with everything.
The beautician began by filing and buffing my nails and applying a product called Hydrator which is a rich, yet fast absorbing cuticle oil. It’s a blend of Sea Blackthorn, Sunflower and Apricot oil in a Vitamin E rich formula that softens and removes uneven cuticles in an instance. She then applied a gel base coat, followed by three coats of colour and a top coat to finish for extra shine and resistance. I have had my nails on for over two weeks now and they still haven’t chipped!
The brand offer a loyalty card where you can receive your 6th treatment free. At £35 for a gel manicure it’s not cheap so having a loyalty scheme is a great incentive for customers to return. I have never had my nails done in a department store before this but I would certainly go back as I had a great experience, thank you Only Fingers & Toes!
